Packed it flat in my daypack for a week of mountain trails and honestly forgot it was even in there until I needed it. The corner buttons are sturdy enough that it held its shape even when I filled it to the brim with stream water.

The buttons snap together in seconds, and once it’s flat it disappears into the bottom of my daypack. Took it through a rainy stream crossing and my lunch stayed completely dry.

I was skeptical about the buttons holding up on a trip, but they snap together tight and the whole thing stays rigid enough to eat out of without flopping. It's genuinely waterproof too—a splash from the stream didn't soak through the bottom. Dried off fast and packed away flat in seconds.
